Before having a wild look at US Election Polls, 2016, let us review a little history of elections held in United States. It is a country consisting of 50 states with many ethnic groups officially recognized as its citizens. The population there majorly consists of whites that are 72.41% in numbers. The second major group is of blacks that is 12.61%. Others are multiracial, Asian and native being the lowest number that is estimated to be 1.12%. Legally, people of all groups hold right for indirect voting that is, then, cast by electors for the final selection of president and the vice-president of the country.
For the 58th quadrennial US presidential election, Mrs. Clinton was ahead in both electoral and popular polls all this August. Real Clear Politics, a US poll aggregator firm and website, holds all the records of every day polling being held in various states of the country. Some of the firms that are holding polling that are worth mentioning are Megallan (R), PPP (D), Fox 2 Detroit, Monmouth, Quinnipiac, Gravis, Economist, Fox 5 Atlanta, Reuters, Pew Research, CBS News, CNN, ORC, Mason-Dixon, Emerson and LA Times. There’s a certain rise and fall in the graph of both the candidates.
Now, let’s have a brief look at polls this August.
Miss. Hilary Clintonof the Democratic Party has a clear lead on Donald Trump of Republican Party, two major parties of the United States. As we view the US Election Polls, 2016 of August, from 1st of August to half the month, Ms. Clinton proved to be favourite candidate of the US citizens as she had votes of total percentage 88.8%. While polling did not seem to be in favour of Donald Trump with him collecting votes consisting of only 11.1%. This is clearly a majestic lead of Clinton. As of end of the month of August, there’s a notable decrease in Clinton’s likeness as the voting decreased for her from 88.8% to 77.3%. While, for Mr. Trump, end of this August may be called lucky. Votes for him elevated from 11.1% 22.6%. Of course, future of US is uncertain as decrease or increase in votes for both major parties’ presidential candidates are experiencing vicissitudes in its graph. Let alone be the last day of August.
As of Tuesday, August 30th 2016, four polls were held that include two by Monmouth, one by PPP (D) and remaining other was held by NBC News/SM. In Monmouth’s polling in the state of Pennsylvania, Clinton has a lead of 8 votes with 48 votes followed by Trump having 40 votes, Johnson having 6 votes, and Stein getting only 1 vote. NBC News/SM’s polls results show 41 votes for Hilary Clinton and 37 votes of Donald Trump while Johnson has 11 votes and Stein got 5 votes. Here, again Miss Clinton 4+ votes for herself. Another poll was held by PPP (D) which resulted in 42 votes for Clinton, 37 votes for Trump, 6 votes for Johnson and 4 votes for Stein. This gives Clinton hold of 5 more votes. It is notable that Clinton is winning more votes because she has certain influence in some of the major states of America that are North Carolina, Michigan, Nevada, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, Connecticut, Maryland, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and New Hampshire. The states in which Mr. Donald Trump is being followed by majority and is winning big number of votes are Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina and West Virginia. This may be enough number of states with the addition of some more states for Mr. Trump to become hot favourite. Right now, it’s very unlikely for him to pace ahead in line with Hilary Clinton, former state secretary of the United States of America.
The current forecast of US Election polls, 2016 is 330.7 electoral votes for Hilary Clinton and 206.9 votes for Donald Trump. The popular votes are 48.3% for Ms. Hilary Clinton while 42.5% for Mr. Donald Trump. The top states that are being said to be watched closely for polls are Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. This gives us the mix of states some of which vote Ms. Clinton as their favourite while others happen to be liking Mr. Donald Trump more to see as President of the United Dates of America in future. It is not to be ignored that some of the very recent polls conducted in states of Georgia, Iowa, Ohio and South Carolina showed inference of tie between both the candidates. Still, the lead margins remain for Democratic candidate, Hilary Clinton of Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.
It is likely that the number of votes in US Elections Polls, 2016 for the Republican Candidate Mr. Donald Trump may see a slight increase in number as well as percentage. It is still unpredictable to say what will be the result till the 8th of November this year. The race between these big candidates is becoming tighter as the day of result is arriving this fast. The election forecast for the to-be-held presidential elections in United States of America will be kept updates until the day arrives.
